C-nox was awarded the contract for the supply, installation and commissioning of a 21MW flare as a low-temperature system for emission-friendly combustion of the excess sewage gas of the waste water plant Ambarli in Turkey. Feature of this flare system is the operation of the system without forced compression of the upcoming bio-digester gas.?The gas flare has to combust the excess gas with a reactor pressure of only up to 15 mbar at the digester. This is made possible through a multi-stage gas feed with two-stage gas actuators per track and a specially for low pressure developed burner system. Through multiple stages, the system can work in a work area of about 1:10, and thus provides the operating personnel an optimum of flexibility.

The contract for the project is adjacent to the Ambarli Atakoy project, the second order for a large wastewater treatment plant in Turkey!
